For many years one of my favorite videogame sounds has been In Your Hands—even mentioned it on a post about music that’s always in my head—a soothing and melancholic score that comes from Gris, an indie game developed by Nomada Studio, released in 2018. Official cover for the game I will be saying this many times...

Today I was on vacation and I have been watching YouTube videos all day long for some reason. I could have finished a videogame or a book in all this time. However, I was watching a long playthrough of Outer Wilds. Because I have finished that game and I am absolutely thrilled about it. What a videogame, please play...

Sometimes you have such a great idea, a post that you need to write and share with everybody and you just keep meaning to get to it. Then reality hits and it doesn’t quite let you make that post in a way that feels right for the subject. In the end, you end up writing nothing at all, or with a draft that is quite...

A lot of things have happened this week, the rain has been calming down again, the plumber finally fixed the issues that caused my shower to floor, so rain is no longer annoying. Let’s see how things went from August 11 to 18, 2026! 🍦 My sister is visiting! She’s the reason we got burguers last week. I can’t bother...

There is a huge list of people participating for Blaugust and you can go to Andreas’ website if you want a full OPML file to simply import to your RSS Reader. Personally, I haven’t added too many new people to my feed, but there have been a few which I’ll share! Fyr.io - Matt seems like a pretty cool guy! he is not...

I saw this post by Gabz a while back titled Iconic moments in gaming and I wanted to share my own! Of course, these will spoil game mechanics or plot twists and you should thread carefully! I will not be using <details> to spoil, though I’ll add skip buttons between each videogame I bring up. I will also list each...

I have been subscribed to Clarkesworld for more than two years now—I blame Amin—but it took me this long to finally finish one of their issues. I am just terrible at reading I guess, but since they are a great sci-fi magazine I don’t feel particularly guilty about supporting them even if I am not taking advantage of...

So, The Expanse is over, at last, and I will probably write a different post talking about the whole series and my thoughts overall. For now, these are only my thoughts on the last book, let’s get to them, after the summary! The Laconian Empire has fallen, setting the thirteen hundred solar systems free from the...

I usually take the bus to work, this is provided for free by my workplace. Today however, I was on a rush, I got out of my house way too late and I knew I would have to run if I wanted to make it in time… I didn’t want to run. Instead, I knew that I could make it to the opposite side of the neighborhood and catch a...

With Blaugust running wild, and me posting almost daily, I don’t know what to mention here on this intro that is super interesting. Just go and check my posts! They are pretty fun. Here are some of the small things that aren’t enough for a full blogpost, or maybe they are, we’ll see. My weeknotes, From August 4 to...

No introduction, no filler, just some facts. You can check some existing facts about me on this post from last year’s Blaugust and this other compilation. Even though I am Mexican, there’s a lot of Mexican food everyone seems to love, but I just don’t like as much. I can eat it if I have to be polite, but yeah, I’d...

I realize I have spent a lot of my time writing about videogames here, and not focusing much on most of my other hobbies. I guess I just want to ramble about something different today, so why not? The other day I saw a post on a reading group I found in some mainstream social media platform that shall remain...
