This week was wild, one of the most hectic days at work, watching the World Cup at church, getting some late birthday presents for myself, taking pictures, maybe a date? I don’t know what’s going onnn. Alas, here’s some notes on it all, from June 16 to 22, 2026. Let’s go! 👔 Happy Father’s day to the people...

I love Metroid. While I was aware of emulation from a young age, thanks to Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart 64, I never quite understood that there’s more emulators out there besides the old Project 64 until an older friend showed me his computer running them. Along Pokémon Fire Red and Final Fantasy I & II, Metroid...

Back when I purchased my Nintendo Switch in 2023, there were only a few titles I cared about trying on it. Among the first games I purchased at the time was Hades, released in 2020, developed by Supergiant Games. Hades had already made a name for itself, as a title that redefined the genre and the medium, in manners...

Hey hey! Good news, this was my birthday week! And it has been pretty awesome. The World Cup started, and as much as I hate everything behind the politics and the greediness of FIFA. Us Mexicans and many other people choose to focus on the beautiful game that brings the world together, no matter what. Alas, these...

I thought it would be fun to list every single physical game I own, and try to justify my purchasing desitions. Honestly though, it will be a bit painful too. It will be a paragraph per game, so it should not be that long. I will also note how worth the purchase is or will be once I play it, in my opinion. This is...

I am one of those who prefers to get something done in the span of a day or else whatever I publish will need way more work on my part, to make sure the tone stays consistent and the flow of what I write makes sense. I actually write most of these posts in a single big text file that I then copy paste to a final...

This week went by in a flash, I don’t even know what to put on my weeknotes here. I was just playing Metroid Prime Remastered. Okay I remembered a few more things I guess, here we go! 🧳 My parents went on a trip for medical reasons (everything was fine!) and I stayed home alone once again. It was a rather chill time...

Today I used my bike as a tool and not just for excercise or hobby! My mom wanted me to go with her to some place, and even though she would just take me with her on the car, I decided to simply go ahead and take my bike to meet her there. It has been raining lately, but that only made the weather comfy and cloudy...

It took me a while to finish this novella, because I thought I would get it over with before I started Tiamat’s Wrath (The Expanse #8) and instead I went into a reading slump for a couple of weeks, all of my book club got ahead of me in the novel and I decided to start the novel myself abandoning this a third of the...

Oh my, I had already started writing the outline of my weeknotes when I realized the month was over as well! The monthly summary takes precedence here, so let’s get started with it! May was a very strange month, with a lot of things I got into, like buying my first bicycle (the first one I buy with my money, at...

Honestly, this week went by in a flash, I am not sure of what even happened with it, but either way, time continues moving forward, and some things changed during such an event, here are some notes I got from it. 📬 I finally received my pair of post cards from NantucketLit’s First-Class Fiction! The mailing system...

It’s been a while since I’ve done a post sharing what my home screen looks like, and a lot has changed since then. Last year I shared what’s on my phone, but it was more of a listicle that didn’t really go into the reasoning behind my choices. In any case, that’s what I plan to do here. at least for the homescreen I...
