Cristina Rivera Garza es una escritora mexicana, narradora, poeta y ensayista. Actualmente trabaja como profesora en la Universidad de Houston y es directora del programa de posgrado en escritura creativa en español. Ha sido profesora en instituciones como la UNAM, la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEM), la San Diego State University y el ITESM Campus Toluca.
