This year's theme was Clear the Table! A vision Tom has had for good while, where folks could dramatically clear a table of objects — you know, like in movies when they move everything aside and lay down a map for a heist. + photos (and video)

Took a dip this afternoon in some last gasps of pool weather season. That evening we’d hit the theater to see the 1997 Japanese anime Perfect Blue. This was Casey’s pick since I forced him to see the Taylor Swift record release party the night before. It’s not every day you see an animated psychological thriller...
"I don't think I'm going to make it" I said to Casey at the top of the Ferris wheel, my eyes wide and pallor drained. The speed of the spin caused our gondola to rock back and forth at the apex. (I survived and took a bunch of photos at the pop-up canival.)
