I didn't have enough time to sift through all the things Andrew Neyer was clearing out at his garage sale the other week, so I went up to his studio today to check Stuff out at leisure.
Neighbors waved me over as they were stoking a new fire pit. We chatted about work, technology, current events, shared recipes and regarded color of the light on clouds.
Went to the farmer's market and loaded up on carbs and pawpaws, which also have carbs.
I got out of the house again, rolling the dice on yet another band I barely know. It was a'ight. Too loud, but I got out and for that I'm grateful.
Casey recreated a dish from a recent night out by poaching pears, roasting squash and parsnip, grilling chicken and plating it with gem lettuce and a homemade cider vinaigrette. It was so good I could see this working into dinner rotation. + photo of cat
They're dredging the lake to reduce layers of sediment and reset the ecosystem at Sharon Woods. + photos
Went to the yearly HOMEARAMA where they build model homes and have interior designers spruce them up and folks can tour them. + photos
A young man that goes by the name sombr (stylized in all lowercase) blew up enough to have his concert moved from Bogarts (capacity 1,500) to the Andrew J. Brady Music Center (capacity 4,500). + photos

My friend DJ ran a creative neighborhood walk & collage workshop called “Design is Trash” where a group picks up trash and makes design from it. I joined in for this Norwood session and enjoyed it immensely. + photos
