While reading about iFIXIT’s new FixBot, I learned that IFIXIT has had app difficulties with Apple’s App Store in the past. Back in 2015, IFIXIT “tore down the Apple TV and Siri Remote” that had been sent to it by Apple. IFIXIT, which had an iOS app, explained what happened next: A few days later, we got an email...
I am a fan of IFIXIT and I have used its guides to make repairs/upgrades to computers and other electronics (still on my to-do list is following its guide to replace the battery in my Google Pixel 6a). IFIXIT has introduced a new AI assistant called FixBot. My generally negative takes on consumer AI and AI...

Mr. Tang explains that Mixue is a fast food chain in China run by two brothers who started out selling shaved ice in 1997. The...
My good friend and New Leaf Journal colleague Victor V. Gurbo once published an article on trying to ascertain whether his cat was deaf. There was no doubt however that his cat cold see. I read a Basketball Network report in Arkansas college basketball coach John Calipari complaining about the new Name, Image, and Likenesses (“NIL”) rules in college sports leading to a trend in older college basketball players. Mr. Calipari had great success in the late 2000s and early 2010s at Memphis and Kentucky...
Courtesy of Daily Mail, President Donald Trump on “tiny cars”: They’re very small, they’re really cute, and I said, ‘How would that do in this country?'” President Donald Trump President Trump is pushing for U.S. car manufacturers to build tiny cars. I know not whether we will see more tiny cars, but I covered a New...
