Sylvia
Hello! I'm Sylvia, a blogger, doodler, poet, avid reader and chronic website tinkerer. Welcome to my noodling nook, my little corner of the indieweb where I share things that I noodle around with.
Karen
Hello there, I’m Karen. This is the latest iteration of my digital space/brain dump/blog. I'm trying to remind myself of the joy I used to find in old-school early 2000s blogs and online journals, and stay away from the constant bombardment of awfulness on socials.
This will be my internet home away from home; a place to bust my writing chops. I'm interested in lots of things, you never know what's going to pop up here.

The Emu Café Social is a social-publishing site powered by WordPress. Members will be able to use the site to post about what interests them and discuss their external projects. While the site is conducive to short-to-medium-length posts, it also accommodates longer-form writing. By advertising feeds and user profiles, it will be easy for visitors to follow individual writers or to follow the project as a whole. In general, members of the site can and will post about subjects of interest to them.

I’m passionate about open source software, usability, performance, privacy, and minimal design. This small piece of the internet stores a growing collection of my personal brain dumps. I also actively maintain several open source projects. Core tools are HTML, CSS, Ruby, JavaScript & PHP. Currently improving my skills with Rails & MongoDB. I also enjoy tinkering with basic shell scripts and Unix systems.
