The historic Tohka Saikan Chinese restaurant (1924) and the Shijo Ohashi bridge over the Kamogawa river, in a long exposure at dusk. 1924年建築の由緒ある中華料理店「東華菜館」と、鴨川に架かる四条大橋を、夕暮れ時の長時間露光で捉えた写真だ。
Verdant green mountains in Arashiyama, south of the Katsura River. So green, I had to turn down the color saturation to make it believable.😉 桂川の南側にある嵐山の、青々とした緑の山々。あまりにも緑が鮮やかだったので、信じてもらえるように彩度を下げざるを得なかった。😉

Entrance to the Tamanoyu sento (public bath) in central Kyoto, opened in 1894. Their mostly older customers' bicycles are parked symmetrically alongside the entrance. 明治27年にオープンした京都中京区にある銭湯「玉の湯」の入り口。主に年配のお客さんの自転車が入口に左右対称に停まっている。

One last post of cherry blossoms for the season, taken on Arashiyama's Nakanoshima Island in soft, buttery sunlight. Shot with Fujichrome Velvia 100 film. 嵐山の中之島でバターのような柔らかい日差しの中で撮影した。フジクローム・ベルビア100フィルムで撮影した。
